Player Wins

Ben Player wins the Arica Chilean Challenge.
Ben Player beat his NMD team mate Dave Winchester in pumping El Grigo, the waves were pumping all contest and riders pushing the limits. Congrats to Dave Winchester on another Arica final but the win for Ben maintains his current lead for the world title.

Amaury Wins

Amaury Laverhne wins the NSW south coast crusade.
The event was held in pumping waves at a semi secret location near bawley point NSW.
Amaury beat Alex Uranga, Jones Russell and Jake Stone in 3-5ft high tide wedgey conditions.

Austrailian Grand Slam Confirmed!

The second stop on the Iba world tour has been confirmed, the event will take place on April 18th – 28th. This will be a mobile event held in the Kiama region on the NSW south coast.
It will be the only international event this year in australia.

The Kiama region has many different beaches an setups so this event will be awesome!!

The sec stop of the iba tour is on April 18 – 28 NSW South Coast Mobile Challenge South Coast, NSW, Australia $40,000 2000 TBC

The third event of the tour is on May 17 – 26 Arica Chilean Challenge El Gringo, Arica, Chile $40,000 2000 Confirmed

The fourth stop on the iba tour is June 6 – 16 Itacoatiara Challenge Itacoatiara, Rio de Janerio, Brazil $40,000 2000 Confirmed

The iba tour rolls into mexico for the fifth stop on the 1 – 12 of Aug Zicatella Challenge Puerto Escondido, Mexico $40,000 2000 Confirmed

The sixth event is on Sep 26 – Oct 5 South Africa Challenge Herolds Bay, South Africa $40,000 2000 TBC

The seventh stop of the tour is on Oct 25 – Nov 3 Encanto Challenge Isabella, Puerto Rico $40,000 2000 TBC

Damian King Quits



The Iba Pipe challenge is to be Kings last contest on the tour. After not resigning with his board sponsor Damian has decided to call it quits on his professional career. Kingy a Iba world champ in 2003, 2004 and 2010 drop knee is the first bodyboarder in history to win the prone and drop knee world titles.

Ben Player Wins the 2013 IBA Go Pro Pipe Contest.

This is the first time Benny has won the pipe contest. Well done Benny!! Ben beat world champion Jeff Hubbard and also took down Pierre Louis Costes and Dave Hubbard in the final. Sacha Specker took out the DK final and Isabella Sousa won the womens event.
